Karen Olsson writes an essay called “up against Wal-Mart”. Karen Olsson specifically gives examples of how Wal-Mart breaks law and abuses their employees. On page 343, she says, “the way they pay you, you cannot make it yourself without having a second job or someone to help you, unless you’ve been there for 20 years or you’re a manager.” She also shares key points on how Wal-Mart refused to provide employees with a union. On page 345, she says, “in ten separate cases, the National Labor Relations Board has ruled that Wal-Mart repeatedly broke the law by interrogating workers, confiscating union literature, and firing union supporters”. This information clearly indicates that Wal-Mart mistreated their employees.

This paragraph comes from the beginning of the essay, but also towards the middle. I believe my strong point in this paragraph are the quotations I provide the readers with, which also provides evidence. I feel that my paragraph lacks thorough explanation of which it is I am talking of.
